We are a volunteer run radio station broadcasting since 1991 broadcasting annually for the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas, and we are going live on 27th November 2019.
Since our first broadcast in 1991, we have raised over £1,500,000 in donations to help needy and desperate people throughout the world, and we thank you all for your continued support.
Our presenters will provide you with live shows from 7.30am to 11.30pm daily, bringing you Cracking Tunes for Cracking Causes. Local School choirs are broadcast each morning on the School Spot.
All musical genres are covered with Radio Cracker, from your favourite commerical hits, to more obscure rock anthems, and everything in between.Donate!
The Radio Cracker Christmas Shop is now open for business. We are to be found in the last unit on the left at the bottom of Greenvale Street in Ballymena.... Just beside the entrance to the Tower Centre. Our opening hours are 9.30am to 4.30 pm, Mon to Sat incl. As usual, the shop is packed full with seasonal ware such as bags, wrapping paper, Christmas cards etc. and lots of unique hand-crafted goods. You can also, of course, make a donation while shopping or request a particular song to be played over the airwaves or make a dedication for a friend or neighbour or family member.
We are always looking for people with a lively manner, good sense of humour and an interest in music to become presenters. We also need technicians to control the volume levels and run the ads. You do not have to be really technical, just able to move a volume control and click a mouse.
Whilst on air, we also need people to answer the phones and take the messages into the presenters. Maybe you would prefer a more people facing role, in which case we need people to help out in our Christmas shop.
If you wold like further information or would like to get involved with Radio Cracker, please contact us.Contact Us!
All of our radio shows are broadcast live by local presenters playing a wide range of music genres.
Every weekday morning we have local primary and secondary school choirs singing live on air.

We have raised over £1.6 million since 1991, helping needy and desperate people throughout the world. If you can spare anything to help us help others, it would be so gratefully received.
